A key milestone achieved: keel laying of BNR 230 MPV RIJNSTROOM
Yesterday we celebrated an important milestone in the construction of BNR 230 MPV Rijnstroom
The keel was laid at Kooiman Marine Group, marking the official start of the build.In line with maritime tradition, the children Cas and Kurt van Wijngaarden and Fenna, Lodi and Hidde Janné welded a commemorative coin to the keel, a symbolic moment warmly received by everyone present. Peter van Wijngaarden and Rinus Kooiman shared their words on the significance of this project and the value of positive collaboration. The Rijnstroom is being designed as a modern and versatile multifunctional vessel, tailored to a wide range of maritime operations and meeting the latest standards in efficiency, safety, and reliability.
