Kooiman Harbour Equipment is a household name in harbour equipment. Kooiman Harbour Equipment, formerly known as Van Eijk Haveninrichting, has been making mooring facilities in the Drechtsteden region, the Port of Rotterdam area and far beyond for decades.
We take care of the design, construction and installation of complete systems in-company. These constructions are developed together with the client into a specialized, customized product or are delivered in accordance with a previously agreed schedule of requirements. Constructions made by Kooiman Harbour Equipment include pontoons, gangplanks, boathouses, mooring buoys, floating beacons, shelters and kiosks on pontoons, and patented damping pole guides. Kooiman Marine Group also takes care of (urgent) repairs, maintenance and modification of diverse constructions on location or at one of our three shipyards.

Sustainability, safety and the limitation of sound disturbance are important criteria which harbour equipment must satisfy. But visiting a mooring facility should also be a pleasant occurrence. These aspects are all included in the design and building. Over the years, we have acquired a great deal of knowledge and experience and can put forward a fast solution for every situation. There is good reason why the constructions of Kooiman Harbour Equipment can be found all over the Netherlands.
