Since its creation in 1815, Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee BV in Dordrecht has built up a strong reputation in the Dutch shipping industry. The shipyard is located at the 1st Merwedehaven in Dordrecht, with excellent access to shipping. The shipyard has a modern and innovative 150-metre long transverse slipway. The spacious repair quays have sufficient crane capacity for dry docking several vessels alongside each other. The shipyard also has a propeller dock of 40x23 metres.

We can perform all necessary work at Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee BV, such as preparing vessels for classification, powering and repowering, repair of complicated damage and extensive renovations on board various types of vessels and floating objects. Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee is visited regularly by coasters, inland vessels and tankers, dredgers, dry cargo ships, barges, tugboats, passenger ships, transfer and mooring pontoons and other floating objects.

Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee BV has its own engineering workshop and carpentry department. The shipyard can furthermore make use of a marine electrical systems technical department and technical design agency within the group. Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee BV is the producer of Kooiman Harbour Equipment (formerly: Van Eijk Haveninrichtingen), which specializes in pontoons, gangplanks, boathouses and pipe brackets, among other things.

Shipyard Kooiman Hoebee BV enters into contracts according to the General Yard Conditions of the Netherlands Shipbuilding Industry Association (VNSI) (version 31 December 2018).
