Kooiman towing pins are innovative, sturdy and simple at the same time. Kooiman towing pins create a safe working environment on board. The towing pins meet the strictest requirements and have a Lloyd’s Register Design Approval.
Kooiman Delta Pin:
The Kooiman Delta pin is a set of two towing pins and a chain stopper. This combination provides a safe working environment on the aft deck of tugboats and work vessels. The Kooiman Delta pin is characterized by simplicity and sturdiness. The sets are supplied with hydraulic control and wheel house and deck operation.

Kooiman omega pin
The Kooiman Omega pin was designed for escorting ships at sea. The Omega pin was designed especially for the use of synthetic ropes, such as Dyneema. With the Omega pin, the traction point can be positioned at the right spot with respect to the propulsion, which guarantees optimum manoeuvrability. If the pin is not used, it can be retracted, freeing up deck space for other activities. The Omega pins have a Lloyd’s Register Design Approval.

Kooiman Gamma Pin
The Kooiman Gamma pin is a further development of the Kooiman Omega pin. The basic shape of the Omega pin, with its characteristic curves and smooth finish, was retained for the design of the Gamma pin. These curves were developed with great care to ensure that the line will never be able to touch a sharp edge. A side opening was designed for the Gamma pin. In addition to the up and down position, this creates a third open position.
The dimensions were also modified within the LRS specifications to guarantee the strength of this asymmetric design. A locking system was also added for the loaded position. Just like the Omega pin, the Gamma pin is intended solely for use with synthetic cables such as Dyneema
