Inland vessels

high payload with relatively low ship resistance

Kooiman Marine Group owns the designs of the former Shipyard Joh. Van Duijvendijk in Krimpen aan den IJssel. This shipyard specialized in special vessels such as barges, crane ships, edible oil tankers with stainless steel tanks, but also regular container ships.

The designs of Joh. Van Duijvendijk are well-known for their accurate economic proportions, which translate into a relatively high cargo capacity with a relatively low ship resistance. The high level of completion of these ships guarantees low maintenance costs. Kooiman Marine Group has already built many inland vessels based on the Van Duijvendijk designs.
